    Honey Soy Chicken

    serves 2

    Ingredients-

    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

    • 3 tablespoons honey

    • coriander 

    • fresh ginger (grated)

    • 1 chilli sliced

    • 2 tablespoons butter

    • 4 garlic cloves crushed

    • 1 large chicken breast (cubed/diced)

    • peppers

    • serve with-

    • noodles 
    • Broccoli
    • or in a bun. 

     


    Method - 

    1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, ginger, coriander and half of the sliced chilli and set aside.
    2. In a pan melt 2 tablespoons of butter, while the butter is melting add the crushed garlic and other half of the sliced chilli, and mix. 
    3. Then add your diced chicken into the pan and cook until the outside of the chicken is white. 
    4. Then add your soy sauce mixture and peppers into the pan and stir through thoroughly. Cook on a low heat until the sauce starts to thicken or add corn starch until sauce has thickened. 
    5. Check to make sure chicken is thoroughly cooked before serving and then serve with your choice of veg and noodles. 


    For the burgers- 



    serves 1

    Ingredients-

    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

    • 3 tablespoons honey

    • coriander 

    • fresh ginger (grated)

    • chilli flakes

    • 2 tablespoons butter

    • 4 garlic cloves crushed

    • 2  chicken thighs

    •  



    1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, ginger, coriander and some chilli flakes and set aside.
    2. In a pan melt 2 tablespoons of butter, while the butter is melting add the crushed garlic. 
    3. Then add your chicken thigh into the pan and cook until the outside of the chicken is white. 
    4. Then add your soy sauce mixture into the pan and stir through thoroughly. Cook on a low heat until the sauce starts to thicken or add corn starch until sauce has thickened. 
    5. Use the burger bun to soak up the remaining sauce and serve with spinach inn the bun and salad and chips as a side.
